Blending proven performance from production to postproduction.
New KODAK VISION2 500T Color Negative Film 5260 offers benefits in both production and postproduction. This latest addition to the VISION2 Film family combines the best features from two successful product platforms. The new film’s rich, saturated color reproduction and contrast comes from the popular KODAK VISION Film family. Building on that foundation, VISION2 500T 5260 Film incorporates award-winning VISION2 Film technology, raising the bar for performance and productivity. The film’s finer grain makes it easier to capture shadow detail so you’ll spend less time fine-tuning low-light scenes in the postproduction suite. And improved linearity means more consistent color reproduction throughout the full range of exposures, which gives you greater flexibility in post and streamlines color correction. KODAK VISION2 500T Color Negative Film 5260. Two proven platforms. One exciting new film.

High-definition capture on a scan-only film that lets you add many KODAK Film looks with the touch of a button.
The KODAK VISION2 HD System is a hybrid solution for TV productions that offers the high-definition image capture of film in a streamlined digital workflow. The KODAK VISION2 HD System lets you match myriad KODAK Color Negative Films in tone and color using the KODAK VISION2 HD Digital Processor, making the system's workflow compare more closely to that of electronic capture. The KODAK VISION2 HD System offers real opportunities to bring greater image quality to the screen, contain costs and speed production.

A unique film you can shoot like any other.
The KODAK VISION2 HD Color Scan Film 5299 / 7299 is not a printable film. Though similar to other color negative films, it's strictly for scanning with a characterized telecine and viewing on a characterized monitor—and must be used with the KODAK VISION2 HD Digital Processor.

You'll find that 5299 / 7299 can be shot like any other stock, with some characteristics, such as shadow detail, that can be optimized by varying the rated exposure. And, because digital processing can make necessary compensations, this tungsten film can be shot outdoors without on-camera filtration.
Since the film look is created using digital image processing applied at the time of transfer, precise color and tone looks of many KODAK Films can be generated from this one stock.

EASTMAN PLUS-X Negative Film 5231/7231

Technical Data

This low-speed (EI 64T, 80D) black & white camera negative film is suited for general production use outdoors and in the studio.
The speed and grain characteristics of EASTMAN
PLUS-X Negative Film 5231 (35 mm) and 7231 (16 mm) make it well-suited for general motion picture production- both outdoors and in the studio.
These film characteristics provide an excellent balance between the maximum desirable speed for general production work and a fine-grain negative for that speed.
The speed of this panchromatic film permits the use of small apertures, thus allowing good depth of field.
The film is also widely used for making composite projection background scenes.
